Nurse Next Door has been a game-changer for me. They help with personal care, social outings, and appointments, making my life so much easier and more enjoyable. Their carers, like Kathy, Shalini, Eugene, and Lily, are absolute legends. They’re professional, kind, and feel more like family than carers. Each brings unique skills and a special touch to their care, and I feel so lucky to have them on my team. I only wish I’d found this company sooner! Nurse Next Door also picks up on my mood when I am down asking me simple, thoughtful questions about how I’m doing or what’s been happening. They make appointments much more comfortable and relaxed, which I really appreciate. As an added bonus, their support gives my mum, who’s my aging carer, a much-needed break to recharge. My tip? Be open with your Nurse Next Door assignment person about what you need, and take time to meet different carers to find the right fit. Also, give them plenty of time to match you with the perfect carer. Share as much information as possible upfront—it really helps them provide the best care. And don’t forget to leave constructive feedback to help improve their service. How lucky are we? Anna has been looking after my Dad for a few months and he is very impressed ( he is hard to please) with the quality and professional care he receives. He really enjoys how caring Anna is with her lovely and friendly disposition. He feels safe when in her care whether showering at home or out shopping. As a family, we cannot recommend them highly enough.

The biggest reason for that rating is that I have finally found a service I can rely on with confidence to help my mum live a quality life at home. My mum lives alone and does not speak English. I want to find her a carer who not only speaks her language fluently, but also is sensitive to her cultural needs, professionally trained, and consistently available. This task has been proven to be very difficult and frustrating with the carer provider companies I used in the past, until I found Nurses Next Door Ryde. Michael from Nurses Next Door is kind hearted, hard working, and passionate about his work. He demonstrates his professionalism and his willingness to understand his clients' need from the first time we made contact. The carers Michael provides for mum have all the qualities I am looking for. When issues arise, Michael is approachable, always there to provide helpful advice and solutions, and quick in action. Mum for the first time felt secured and happy because of the consistency and quality the care Nurses Next Door provides. Our family has very recently engaged the services of Nurse Next Door to assist with providing some respite and personal care for my elderly father who has Parkinson's disease and Dementia. When my mother was rendered incapable after some mini-strokes, and before she could be moved into full-time care, we used the services of Nurse Next Door to provide 24 hour nursing at home. We were delighted with both the quality of care they provided, and in their organisation and administration. They claim to provide "peace of mind" and in my experience they did exactly that.
