Anthony, along with his wife Sally, have lived, worked, and owned businesses in Adelaide for over 20 years. They love to be a part of the community especially involved in the outdoors and sports, including football, golf and watching their children play their sports. Family is important to them, driving their passion to do home care differently in their local community and make it possible for older Australians and those living with a disability to remain in their own home, connected with family, friends and community, for as long as they choose.

The Nurse Next Door Adelaide South West Team are Amazing! I cannot reccommend them enough! When Mum's Package finally came through Anthony, Sally & Jo made appointing them her provider and beginning her services so easy and seamless. There was just kindness and ease. Being an only child Mum has become more reliant on me as she has got older and had more health issues which have caused her to slow down and have more restrictions on what she used to be able to manage. The Wonderful thing with Nurse Next Door is they match their carers to their clients well and Mum has two lovely carers who come twice a week and she loves them. They take her to appointments, shopping and on all sorts of outings and sometimes just stay with her at home and help her with tasks she needs some help to acheive. Another Benefit is she also can get 3 light and easy meals a week which helps her and makes it that she has less meals preparation to do which the careers are available to help her with anyway. The flexibility of the the visits to be added or moved slightly when she has appointments is amazing. Belinda and Sheree show such care and consideration for mum and time spent with them builds her spirits and give her purpose. I feel that she is now feeling more independant of me and has her own self worth and purpose. Thanks so much for the ongoing support from the Nurse Next Door Adelaide South West Team. Is Nurse Next Door registered for Support At Home?
Yes, Nurse Next Door is a government registered home care provider and can supply all your Support At Home care needs.
What if I need to speak to someone after business hours?
Our Care Services Center is open 24/7. Call anytime, and one of our Care Services Specialists will be happy to assist you.
When should we consider 24-hour home care?
Use this list to help you decide if continuous monitoring is something you should consider:
- The person doesn’t sleep through the night (or gets up more than 2-3 times per night).
- The person has difficulty moving around and is at a high risk of falls.
- The person was recently (or is about to be) discharged from the hospital and needs constant monitoring.
- The person’s spouse or relative is exhausted from helping day and night.
If one or more of these statements is true, call us for a more thorough Caring Consult.
How much does Nurse Next Door cost?
Nurse Next Door's services vary in price depending on the level of care required and the Nurse Next Door Care team that services your area. To get a better idea of pricing in your area, speak to one of our Care Services Specialists, we're open any time, 24/7.
We also offer a complimentary Caring Consult, during which one of our Care Designers, who is a Registered Nurse, will help you determine the amount of care you may require. We'll then work with you to balance your budget and needs and find a home care option for you.
You may also be eligible for Government Funding to help compensate with any finances.
Can I trial Nurse Next Door or do I have to sign a long-term contract?
You are not locked into a long-term contract as a Nurse Next Door client.

Are your home care services only for Aged Care?
No. We provide home care services to people of all ages. In addition to aged care, we provide home care services for disability support, post-operative care and more.

Will I have the same Care Team all the time?
At Nurse Next Door, we strive to provide consistent care with regularly assigned caregivers. If your Caregiver isn’t available, we will ensure a suitable replacement that meets your unique needs.
Does Nurse Next Door conduct a background check for Caregivers?
Yes, all Nurse Next Door Caregivers are carefully screened with police checks, vulnerable sector checks and reference checks. Prior to hiring we verify our Caregivers' credentials and experience. On an annual basis, we verify that every Nurse is registered and in good standing with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
