Owned and operated by local Patricia Loayza, Nurse Next Door Home Care Services Melbourne Inner West is proud to support families across our vibrant community, including the inner western and inner northern suburbs of Melbourne, dedicated to providing premium home care that is Making Lives Better®.
With over 30 years of nursing experience, Patricia has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and person-centred care. Her journey began during her university studies, supporting aged care residents as well as clients living with Motor Neurone Disease and Multiple Sclerosis in their own homes. For the past 27 years, she has worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at a major teaching public hospital in Inner Melbourne. Caring for people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds has deepened her strong connection to the Melbourne Inner West community. Patricia is also fluent in Spanish, allowing her to communicate directly with Spanish speaking clients and families to help them feel completely comfortable, understood and supported.
As a proud mother of two, Patricia brings a naturally warm and friendly approach to her work. She chose to bring Nurse Next Door to her local community because of a shared commitment to Making Lives Better® through kindness, dignity and respect. Backed by a carefully chosen team of exceptional Caregivers and Nurses who share her values, Patricia is passionate about thinking outside the box to find personalised solutions that meet every unique need.
Her promise is to provide open and honest communication, ensuring that you and your loved ones are empowered to enjoy a fulfilling and independent life at home.
Like everyone at Nurse Next Door, Patricia believes that every age counts. The team infuses the Happier Ageing® philosophy of care into everyone they support, no matter their age or ability, with one simple question:
“What did you use to love doing that you no longer do?”
From the initial Caring Consult through to the development of a Care Plan, Patricia and her team help clients reconnect with the interests, hobbies and passions that they may have lost along the way.
Patricia’s team of qualified, trusted and extraordinary nurses and caregivers live and breathe Nurse Next Door’s core values, including admiring people and being passionate about making a difference. They are all happy and naturally caring people who love making others smile. Caregivers are carefully matched based on individual needs, ensuring clients receive the absolute best care in the Melbourne Inner West region.
