The biggest reason for that rating is that I have finally found a service I can rely on with confidence to help my mum live a quality life at home. My mum lives alone and does not speak English. I want to find her a carer who not only speaks her language fluently, but also is sensitive to her cultural needs, professionally trained, and consistently available. This task has been proven to be very difficult and frustrating with the carer provider companies I used in the past, until I found Nurses Next Door Ryde. Michael from Nurses Next Door is kind hearted, hard working, and passionate about his work. He demonstrates his professionalism and his willingness to understand his clients' need from the first time we made contact. The carers Michael provides for mum have all the qualities I am looking for. When issues arise, Michael is approachable, always there to provide helpful advice and solutions, and quick in action. Mum for the first time felt secured and happy because of the consistency and quality the care Nurses Next Door provides. I am very impressed by and forever grateful for Michael and Nurses Next Door's service.

My father recently passed away. Many months ago, I spoke to Michael at Nurse Next Door. My father was being stubborn and wanted no help. Michael listened to me and came to visit with one of his nurses. He was clam, patient and reflective. Months passed and every few weeks Michael would check in. And he was genuinely just checking in. Three days prior to Christmas, we needed care. I called Michael. He was calm, said he would do everything he could, notwithstanding the time of year. He visited the next day and we had care the next day and over Christmas. The care was incredible. She lay next to my father showing him photos. Propping him up. Keeping him warm or cool. Keeping him as hydrated as possible. Michael visited Christmas Day with chocoloates and a hug for my mother. It was an enormous relief for us. A few days later my father was not with us, though the care and attention of Michael and his team was just incredible. I cannot recommend enough. Thank you.

We were delighted with the service Michael arranged, and Momoko carried out, caring for my elderly uncle on a holiday trip by plane away from his nursing home. Momoko was wonderful, and my uncle thinks he has a new girlfirend! She carried out all the "hard" caring roles that I and my family are unable and unqualified to do, as well as becoming a good friend to him, and being able to get through his chronic deafness. He doesn't like showers, but Momo was able to gently persuade him to have one and enjoy it. She also dealt well with a difficult situation when the booked wheelchair taxi did not arrive at the airport to collect them when it shoud. Would highly recommend this service.

This team is amazing, From my first contact (and I've never used a service like this before so I had no idea what I was doing) they calmly and professionally talked me through the process, helping me to feel in control and get the service that suited my recovery best. There were orientation phone calls to really ensure they understood my needs, and then the team came out. The two ladies I was partnered with were absolutely amazing. They had the practical skills to help me (when I was struggling to understand my own recovery limitations) as well as to step back as I recovered. They were also such lovely people, providing emotional support and practical advice, without being overly 'chatty'. I have recommended friends who are looking to work in the sector contact this company - and would absolutely use them again as well as recommend to friends. Just brilliant.

My family cannot rate the care and attention supplied by Michael and his team highly enough. We were in urgent need of in-home social, domestic & medical services for our 93 yr old mother. Nurse Next Door were able to respond almost immediately to our enquiry and provide exactly the right people for the job - showing great sensitivity for the challenges of dealing with a somewhat reluctant elderly client and soon building trust with her. Michael's flexibility and willing adaptability to meet our mother's frequently changing circumstances (due to her fluctuating health) were remarkable and the dedication of his staff to my mother's health and well being was truly remarkable. I can highly recommend Michael and his team of carers. The service that Michael offers is incredible. From the first day that I spoke to Michael, he offered whatever help he could, such as finding equipment providers for me and was also available to speak to at any time. My dad was looked after by an amazing team of carers who understood my dad's needs and over a six month period, we saw an improvement in my dad's dementia due to the care they provided. They genuinely cared and took the time to get to know my mum and dad. We will miss their smiling faces visiting us everyday. Thank you.
