Sarah and Kenan have only recently moved to Perth after living and growing up in Melbourne and Regional Victoria. After spending the last two years enduring lockdowns in Melbourne during the Covid 19 Pandemic they decided to relocate their family to Perth for the warm weather, beautiful beaches and laid back lifestyle.They both love the lifestyle their region affords them and are both passionate about making a difference and providing meaningful change within their community and surrounding areas.
Sarah has practised as a Registered Nurse for over 18 years working across a broad spectrum of areas and specialties including Paediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care, Perinatal Services, Mental Health and Disability. She has seen first hand the unfortunate gaps in the healthcare system and the impact that this has on vulnerable people and their families. She is passionate and committed to keeping older Australians and those living with a disability living at home and being as independent and happy for as long as possible.
Kenan has worked in systems compliance as a Public Servant for over 15 years. He has a lived experience of being a carer to his daughter and the stress that comes with finding the right care and support. It’s through this lived experience that Kenan is committed to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to stay in their own home, safe, happy and living their best life possible.

Yes, Nurse Next Door is a government registered home care provider and can supply all your Support At Home care needs.
What if I need to speak to someone after business hours?
Our Care Services Center is open 24/7. Call anytime, and one of our Care Services Specialists will be happy to assist you.
When should we consider 24-hour home care?
Use this list to help you decide if continuous monitoring is something you should consider:
- The person doesn’t sleep through the night (or gets up more than 2-3 times per night).
- The person has difficulty moving around and is at a high risk of falls.
- The person was recently (or is about to be) discharged from the hospital and needs constant monitoring.
- The person’s spouse or relative is exhausted from helping day and night.
If one or more of these statements is true, call us for a more thorough Caring Consult.
How much does Nurse Next Door cost?
Nurse Next Door's services vary in price depending on the level of care required and the Nurse Next Door Care team that services your area. To get a better idea of pricing in your area, speak to one of our Care Services Specialists, we're open any time, 24/7.
We also offer a complimentary Caring Consult, during which one of our Care Designers, who is a Registered Nurse, will help you determine the amount of care you may require. We'll then work with you to balance your budget and needs and find a home care option for you.
You may also be eligible for Government Funding to help compensate with any finances.
Can I trial Nurse Next Door or do I have to sign a long-term contract?
You are not locked into a long-term contract as a Nurse Next Door client.

Are your home care services only for Aged Care?
No. We provide home care services to people of all ages. In addition to aged care, we provide home care services for disability support, post-operative care and more.

Will I have the same Care Team all the time?
At Nurse Next Door, we strive to provide consistent care with regularly assigned caregivers. If your Caregiver isn’t available, we will ensure a suitable replacement that meets your unique needs.
Does Nurse Next Door conduct a background check for Caregivers?
Yes, all Nurse Next Door Caregivers are carefully screened with police checks, vulnerable sector checks and reference checks. Prior to hiring we verify our Caregivers' credentials and experience. On an annual basis, we verify that every Nurse is registered and in good standing with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
