Is this service only for the final days?
No. Palliative care can begin at any stage of a life limiting illness, well before end of life care is needed. We support families for months or even years, helping manage day-to-day comfort, dignity and quality of life, including overnight and 24-hour support when required.

We needed some after surgery nursing care, to be provided in our home as we couldn't get out to the hospital, with the care and expertise expected from a hospital service.
