How we can help
Do you provide transport?
Yes. Your support worker drives you or travels with you to appointments, social visits, shopping and more, and can sit in at appointments to take notes so nothing is missed.
Is this just a taxi service?
No, it is much more. A taxi driver drops you at the kerb. Your caregiver assists you from your front door, helps you into the car, stays with you during the activity if you wish, helps with mobility or bathroom breaks, and makes sure you are settled safely back at home afterwards.
Can I go to evening events?
Yes. Our services are available 24/7, so if you want to attend a wedding, a concert or a family dinner in the evening, we can arrange support to get you there and back safely.
Will the caregiver stay with me?
That is entirely up to you. Some clients prefer their caregiver to stay with them for company and conversation throughout the activity. Others prefer to be dropped off and collected again at a set time. We adapt to your preference.

The best thing about Nurse Next Door is Danielle. Danielle is an incredible organiser and matches the right staff to clients. Even in the most challenging situations, she manages to find solutions that work. A huge amount of stress has been removed from my life since we engaged Nurse Next Door to organise staff to visit, support and take our mother (who lives in an aged care home) to places she used to do when she lived in her own home.
