How we can help
Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Many of our Nurse Next Door locations are registered NDIS providers, allowing us to support Agency Managed participants. However, all of our locations can support Self-Managed and Plan-Managed participants immediately. We recommend speaking with your local Care Designer to confirm the specific registration status of their team.
What NDIS support categories do you cover?
Our in-home disability support services fall under two NDIS categories: Core Supports (Assistance with Daily Life, Transport, and Social & Community Participation) and Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living). This includes everyday support like personal care, plus nurse-led High Intensity daily personal activities, and overnight support when needed.
Can I choose my own support worker?
Absolutely. Choice and control are central to our approach as your disability support provider. We take great care to pair you with a caregiver or nurse who shares your interests, personality and cultural preferences, so you have a consistent team you know and trust.
Can you provide 24/7 support for complex needs?
Yes. Our support workers and Registered Nurses work as one team to specialise in 24/7 complex care and overnight support, overseeing high intensity needs such as ventilation, epilepsy management and wound care, so you're safe at home around the clock.
Do I need to sign a lock-in contract?
No. We do not believe in lock-in contracts. You can increase, decrease, or cancel your services at any time with appropriate notice. We understand that your goals and NDIS funding may change, so our service remains as flexible as you are.

I feel very honoured to have been the very first client for Nurse Next Door at Kiama! I needed assistance after knee replacement surgery including showering, putting on and taking off surgical stockings and transport to my medical appointments. They also assisted me with some light household duties in the first week or so. Michael, Rebecca and especially Julie are such lovely people and gave me the confidence, reassurance and advice to get back on my feet in a month or so. They were kind enough to make arrangements so I didn't miss out on getting to see Keith Urban in concert again in Wollongong- we had such a fun night! We are really greatfull for the nurse next door kiama team since coming on board to assist in the care of my grandparents 84 and 87 both different forms of dementia and multipul other heath problems. From the managment team to the care staff really are amazing and for my grandparents to accept is one thing and to like and interact is another and the nurse next door team have done just that and braught them out of there shell. By having the team come on board this has aloud for mr to spend more quality time with my partner and children alowing us some well earned time away and support our children in there sporting endevours. She prepared the medications, monitored my Blood sugar levels and blood pressure, and checked that I was safe all night. It was very comforting and made me feel that I would get through ii, and took away the anxiety. I was better with the nurse than I would have been hospital. I highly recommend this service
