Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Many of our Nurse Next Door locations are registered NDIS providers, allowing us to support Agency Managed participants. However, all of our locations can support Self-Managed and Plan-Managed participants immediately. We recommend speaking with your local Care Designer to confirm the specific registration status of their team.
What NDIS support categories do you cover?
Our in-home disability support services fall under two NDIS categories: Core Supports (Assistance with Daily Life, Transport, and Social & Community Participation) and Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living). This includes everyday support like personal care, plus nurse-led High Intensity daily personal activities, and overnight support when needed.
Can I choose my own support worker?
Absolutely. Choice and control are central to our approach as your disability support provider. We take great care to pair you with a caregiver or nurse who shares your interests, personality and cultural preferences, so you have a consistent team you know and trust.
Can you provide 24/7 support for complex needs?
Yes. Our support workers and Registered Nurses work as one team to specialise in 24/7 complex care and overnight support, overseeing high intensity needs such as ventilation, epilepsy management and wound care, so you're safe at home around the clock.
Do I need to sign a lock-in contract?
No. We do not believe in lock-in contracts. You can increase, decrease, or cancel your services at any time with appropriate notice. We understand that your goals and NDIS funding may change, so our service remains as flexible as you are.

Nurse Next Door Home Care Service Truly is the "girl next door". The first time mum hasn't complained about the carer. She comes in and starts and goes about her duties, she never goes into mum saying " what do you want me to do now". She knows what needs to be done and does it. Mum's other favours is not too much chitchat. Just all the pleasant greetings and how are you today. The 3rd main reason. Nurse Next Door have been 💯 amazing since starting with my Mum. Kier sorted everything out super quickly when we moved from the previous provider who we were not happy with and then Mum has had a consistent team supporting her since. I just call and ask for services and they are organised quickly, or Kier contacts to advice what additional services Mum would benefit from - again all sorted out withing a week. Nurse Next Door have been on the ball when Mum needs an ambulance to hospital asap and constantly keep in touch to check in on Mum when she is in hospital. The cleaning and gardening services recently added have been a huge help and I am eternally grateful to Amanda, Danielle and Caitlin for their Nursing with Mum. Can't recommend highly enough.
