How we can help
Do you provide transport?
Yes. Your support worker drives you or travels with you to appointments, social visits, shopping and more, and can sit in at appointments to take notes so nothing is missed.
Is this just a taxi service?
No, it is much more. A taxi driver drops you at the kerb. Your caregiver assists you from your front door, helps you into the car, stays with you during the activity if you wish, helps with mobility or bathroom breaks, and makes sure you are settled safely back at home afterwards.
Can I go to evening events?
Yes. Our services are available 24/7, so if you want to attend a wedding, a concert or a family dinner in the evening, we can arrange support to get you there and back safely.
Will the caregiver stay with me?
That is entirely up to you. Some clients prefer their caregiver to stay with them for company and conversation throughout the activity. Others prefer to be dropped off and collected again at a set time. We adapt to your preference.

Nurse Next Door have been 💯 amazing since starting with my Mum. Kier sorted everything out super quickly when we moved from the previous provider who we were not happy with and then Mum has had a consistent team supporting her since. I just call and ask for services and they are organised quickly, or Kier contacts to advice what additional services Mum would benefit from - again all sorted out withing a week. Nurse Next Door have been on the ball when Mum needs an ambulance to hospital asap and constantly keep in touch to check in on Mum when she is in hospital. The cleaning and gardening services recently added have been a huge help and I am eternally grateful to Amanda, Danielle and Caitlin for their Nursing with Mum. Can't recommend highly enough. Nurse Next Door is currently caring for a family member who experiences Parkinson's Disease. As an organization they are professional and reliable. Example: I suggested that a weekly remedial massage be part of my brother's care plan. Nurse Next Door team organized this process which is now streamlined, part of his routine. I cannot say enough how amazing Keir and her Team of Nurses are. I support Participants on the NDIS, and it is so hard to find providers who are genuinely passionate about what they do. Nurse Next Door are one of the best Nursing supports that I have worked with in the Disability Sector. They really do care about the people they support and are very proactive. Amanda is amazing, she is supporting one of my Participants, who was constantly in and out of hospital as he didn't feel confident in his previous Nursing Supports. Since meeting Amanda, this young man hasn't been to hospital in almost 3 months, he has built up a great relationship with Amanda, which shows how much he trusts her. His mum has been able to step back and not play Nurse, she also couldn't be happier with the impact this has had on her son's health. Nurse Next Door Home Care Service Truly is the "girl next door". The first time mum hasn't complained about the carer. She comes in and starts and goes about her duties, she never goes into mum saying " what do you want me to do now". She knows what needs to be done and does it. Mum's other favours is not too much chitchat. Just all the pleasant greetings and how are you today. The 3rd main reason. Mum's carer is a trained nurse, she knows how to care and administer all of Mum's medical needs properly. I highly recommend Nurse Next Door Home Care Services.
