I first had the pleasure to come in contact with the Nurse Next Door Werribee branch through my Motor Neurone Disease provider Lauryn Matheson following a stay in hospital with pneumonia and sepsis. I had the pleasure to meet with Shalini and Eugene in my home in June, whilst still in hospital at home care . My first impression of Shalini and Eugene was of the upmost respect , without a doubt I found Shalini Eugene of the highest professionalism, kindness , reliable and trustworthy and compassionate about their profession. Both Shalini and Eugene have taken me to many hospital appointments Scans and reviews to the thoracic team of doctors , including Northern health MND appointments. I have also had the pleasure to meet Lily who cleans my house fortunately as well as taken me to appointments. . A very lovely caring and respectful young lady . I am feeling grateful and blessed to have the Nurse Next Door in my Life . Thank you .

I highly recommend Nurse next Door Werribee. I needed to find an aged care company for my dad last year. They were so helpful in guiding dad and I through the process and what to expect I had no doubts to continue using their services. They're very professional, friendly and have great communication. My dad's carer is amazing and patient with dad I have high confidence leaving my dad in such good hands. Thank you to management Eugene, Sharlini and Melissa for looking after my dad so diligently. They have expectional bedside manner, very respectful, caring and understanding to both my elderly father and us (family/ carers). Great communication both with client and staff. Unlike other service providers and medical professionals they explain things in a way dad can understand without superiority or industry terms. Shalini, Imrana and team go over and above. I was recently released from The Alfred Hospital and told that a community nursing member would visit my house and take care of my dressings. I am the recipient of a Hartmann Reversal (colostomy) and have very large wounds as a result. Three hours after returning home, a phone call informed me that I was on my own and no nursing staff would be coming to visit me. I did a google search to obtain the services of an at home nursing service and alighted upon Nurse Next Door. I phoned and the consultant was excellent. He listened as I voiced my needs and said that they will arrange an assessment consult for me asap. The lovely Shalini and her equally lovely colleague arrived at my house the next day and inspected my wound while discussing my needs. I was attended the very next day by a young man who showed equal passion as the ladies, towards best serving my needs. Carriage of self is important to me as I struggle to respect those that give off the impression that they would rather be anywhere but doing what they are doing. Then staff displayed rigid and effortless attention to what would best suit my needs and addressed them professionally. Thoroughly pleased with my choice to utilise this service. Thank you NND

Nurse Next Door has been a game-changer for me. They help with personal care, social outings, and appointments, making my life so much easier and more enjoyable. Their carers, like Kathy, Shalini, Eugene, and Lily, are absolute legends. They’re professional, kind, and feel more like family than carers. Each brings unique skills and a special touch to their care, and I feel so lucky to have them on my team. I only wish I’d found this company sooner! Nurse Next Door also picks up on my mood when I am down asking me simple, thoughtful questions about how I’m doing or what’s been happening. They make appointments much more comfortable and relaxed, which I really appreciate. As an added bonus, their support gives my mum, who’s my aging carer, a much-needed break to recharge. My tip? Be open with your Nurse Next Door assignment person about what you need, and take time to meet different carers to find the right fit. Also, give them plenty of time to match you with the perfect carer. Share as much information as possible upfront—it really helps them provide the best care. And don’t forget to leave constructive feedback to help improve their service.
