How we can help
Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Many of our Nurse Next Door locations are registered NDIS providers, allowing us to support Agency Managed participants. However, all of our locations can support Self-Managed and Plan-Managed participants immediately. We recommend speaking with your local Care Designer to confirm the specific registration status of their team.
What NDIS support categories do you cover?
Our in-home disability support services fall under two NDIS categories: Core Supports (Assistance with Daily Life, Transport, and Social & Community Participation) and Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living). This includes everyday support like personal care, plus nurse-led High Intensity daily personal activities, and overnight support when needed.
Can I choose my own support worker?
Absolutely. Choice and control are central to our approach as your disability support provider. We take great care to pair you with a caregiver or nurse who shares your interests, personality and cultural preferences, so you have a consistent team you know and trust.
Can you provide 24/7 support for complex needs?
Yes. Our support workers and Registered Nurses work as one team to specialise in 24/7 complex care and overnight support, overseeing high intensity needs such as ventilation, epilepsy management and wound care, so you're safe at home around the clock.
Do I need to sign a lock-in contract?
No. We do not believe in lock-in contracts. You can increase, decrease, or cancel your services at any time with appropriate notice. We understand that your goals and NDIS funding may change, so our service remains as flexible as you are.

Nurse Next Door's care for my mother three times a week has provided her with companionship and someone to help with meals and essential things like changing her bed and washing her laundry. Her mental health is vastly improved and she is now calmer and happier. Her life revolves around "Fiona days" - when she knows she will have company and loving attention. My life has changed too - in the background I am dealing with schedulers, nurses and financial people who respond to my emails very quickly and help me resolve problems, manage our annual budget and liaise with me professionally and quickly regarding Mum's physical and mental needs. Mum is happier therefore I am happier, and endlessly grateful that Nurse Next Door has come into our lives.

I contacted Nurse Next Door (NND) late in 2022 regarding supplementary care services that became necessary in support of my mother. Sacha returned my call and confirmed that NND could meet all of our requirements which were quite extensive and I knew would be challenging. Initially the caregiving requirement was only for a few hours per week but then circumstances changed suddenly and NND were able to quickly scale up to 24x7 for several months. This continues to date. NND were able to sensitively and professionally handle mum's condition. This was important when transporting mum to and from medical appointments - for example dentists, etc. Recently, mum moved from one residential aged care facility to another and NND caregivers proved critical to what was a successful transition. Their smiling familiar faces and ability to coordinate with other parties, in providing continuity of care to mum throughout the transfer, was just brilliant. Sacha's responsiveness never wavered when problems were encountered or the situation required prompt action. Always ready to assist and/or advise. Respectfully offering many insightful suggestions on how to deal with several of the caregiving twists and turns we faced as a family. There was such comfort in knowing that we could rely on Sacha and her team. Over and above the call of duty! Thankyou.

Sacha initially came to see my father Norman Monday to Saturday for an hour, after my father had an episode of low BP at home which required hospital admission.
