Coming home from hospital after surgery I didn't want help. I wanted to be independent and do things for myself but I very quickly realized that I did need help and couldn't always keep asking family due to their own commitments. I was told about Nurse Next Door and they came to see me. We had a chat about my needs and goals and what I would like to do out and about the community. Nurse Next Door have been a wonderful addition and I've never looked back. They are always polite and helpful and never make me feel I cant do it - or just do it for me.
